As the Democrats were meeting in Denver this week to crown Barack Obama as their presidential nominee, the American public selected the Poodle as its choice for his family's dog.My grandparents had a poodle when I was a kid, and nobody liked it except for my grandpa, who had a soft spot for pathetic creatures.

Daisy? Awe, looking back I miss that silly little dog.
Me, too, sorta. But face it, nobody liked her when she was around.
Yeah, actually I did like her... she was a goofball. I liked to dislike her, but really, after about the first two years she grew on me and I couldn't imagine Red without Daisy.
