This got a good laugh out of me

CBS4 Investigator Brian Maass reported one of the suspects told authorities they were "going to shoot Obama from a high vantage point using a ... rifle … sighted at 750 yards."

It is funny that the media takes this sort of crap seriously. I'd like to see one of these idiots hit a stationary human size target at 600 yards with one shot, cold, from 750 yards. It'd be nice if the media could at least find out if the suspects had any training, formal or otherwise, in long-range shooting. It's challenging enough to hit stationary targets at that sort of range in ideal conditions with a good shooting position, but to hit a target that likely will be stationary for only brief periods of time, and where you get one shot only... good luck.
