I Think I Know

A Brazilian woman who was shot six times in the head after an altercation with her ex-husband was out of the hospital and talking to the media on Saturday...

Doctors could not explain why the .32-caliber bullets did not penetrate Pereira's skull and didn't even need to be extracted immediately.
I saw something like this before in Canada. The problem, if you can call it that, was that .32 caliber bullets were used in a .38 caliber gun, or some similar caliber mismatch. The bullets came out with much less than full power, thankfully in both cases. I don't know if this was the problem in the Brazillian case, but I'll wager a guess that it was.
