The Science News Cycle

While working at a federal government facility, I was honored with the request to place an example of my research in the historic display on the site. I supplied the material, and a text to accompany it, but when the display was complete I was amused to discover that a decimal error in the description made my research look like an order of magnitude leap in semiconductor photolithography capability. Of course, this was the same day several IBM researchers came by to see my boss about his work, and saw the brand new display on their way to his office.

Embarassed does not begin to describe my position as I had to explain that no, I could not perform sub-nanometer lithography.
